Glassblowing Follow-up Course 1

Glassblowing Follow-up Course 1 is intended for those who have completed the Basics of Glassblowing course.

First, you will make a solid glass paperweight with a color design, and at the same time, we will review ladling hot glass with a wooden ladle. Next, you will free-blow a small colored vase from a color bar.

The lesson will be conducted either as a private lesson or in a small group of two people. The minimum age for the course is 16 years.

Glassblowing instruction includes:

• a reminder of safety matters
• introduction to glassblowing, approximately 2.5-3 hours
• the vase and paperweight you made can be picked up later after it has been finished by grinding and polishing.
